Thanks for sharing these…I’m taking in ideas from various places before embarking on making my own chore list/school schedules. All these different ideas are very helpful.

Would you mind popping up a wee note of the ages of the children concerned? Thanks.

Any chance you can put the daily checklist in pdf format? I don’t have wordperfect and I can’t get it to open. Thanks for sharing these with us!

Oh, these are great, Kendra! Thanks so much for sharing them! We are in the process of revamping for Fall as well. In fact, tonight we had our First Ever Family Back to School Party. (I know, why the middle of the week?) We’ve been slowly implementing our new chore schedule and routine around the house over the past week or so. I’m excited!

Um, yeah. What isn’t clear about my comment is that we are starting school tomorrow. And that is why we had our party this evening. There. Does that make more sense? :)

Do you post them up in the house for the kids to see what they need to do each day or do they just know from routine?

Thanks so much for these!! What a great help!! Looking forward to having some help around here this year!!

    Thanks, Kendra and Fletch!
I don’t know why, but the original daily chores would only open in word (ie, wordperfect…which I don’t have!). The new ones work great!

What is Red Juice? Do you drink it or clean with it? Sorry, I’m new here.

One more question: when a child is supposed to “walk the property” are they looking for trash or getting exercise or??

Ann- Red Juice is our all-purpose cleaner we purchase wholesale from thecleanteam.com. Walking the property means putting things away, throwing away trash, hanging up pool towels, etc. We have 2 acres that can get pretty out of control if it’s not walked every day.

    I love it!

I just revamped our chore chart about a month ago and it still has some kinks. I think some of your ideas can get those kinks out!

Red juice…oh…for cleaning!! Here I was thinking it was some sort of Red40 drink concoction your were feeding your kids! Ha! ; )

Thank you sooo much for sharing with us. I have such a hard time figuring out how to organize the list and type it up that often that is what is keeping me from revamping…the typing!

Still praying for “witto djoe” at our house!

    Hugs,
    Carmen

Wow! I am so excited to have found your blog (i stumbled across it lookng for Spanish program reviews)

I could spend hours here. But I just wanted to say thanks for giving inspiration and …a bit of renewed hope that I needed. I have 7 kids and home school. As a new year approaches and I feel overwhelmed at all the planning I have left to do…I feel so validated and encouraged to remember there are others out there in the same boat!
    Thanks – Jean in Ohio
