Circle Time
« Previous EntriesArt Cards
Friday, January 8th, 2010Recently I was looking for copies of famous art so that when we discuss artists and their work during Circle Time or history or art, I can access the pieces quickly. Masterpiece Cards are a fantastic addition to our home library, and already in the two months I’ve had them, we’ve used them regularly, talking [...]
Workshop Recording and eBook Special!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009Preschoolers and Peace began as an addendum to a workshop I gave at a local homeschooling convention about six years ago. When I began to put ideas on the blog, I really didn’t have a vision beyond using this format as a way to communicate with women who’d attended my workshop. Little by little the [...]
Annie’s Circle Time
Monday, November 2nd, 2009Hey Kendra-
I wanted to email and thank you for your blogging, and all the encouragement and the practical advice you share. I’ve been meaning to email for quite some time, but part of July, all of August and even some of September was the nasty morning sickness. I felt better in September and did some [...]
Blue Yonder Books for Circle Time
Friday, October 30th, 2009I’m in serious love with these terrific activity/recipe/craft books from Blue Yonder Ranch. They’re a perfect addition to Circle Time plans, and they are delightful to look at and explore together.
As I was walking out to get the mail last week, I noticed huge toadstools growing under the redwoods by the pond. I thought it [...]
Fall Schedule
Friday, September 4th, 2009So, how DO I keep two little preschoolers busy and content all morning long? It’s a question I’ve been praying about and pondering all summer long. I even got panicky one night and with terror in my voice said, “I think I’m gonna cry!”
My friend and pastor’s wife Wendy recently encouraged our homeschooling moms at [...]

Well, bless Target! Last month they had Landmark Cards in their lovely Dollar Spot, [...]

Circle Time Inspiration
Monday, August 3rd, 2009Thanks for the break, everyone. I had a busy July with lots of excitement including a learner’s permit, a tenth birthday, a 39th birthday (that would be me), our 18th anniversary, a trip to the coast, a trip to the city to hear the symphony, and a homeschool convention.
♥
And now I have Circle Time on [...]
