School

Are you stumped about which curriculum to choose? Feeling like you need direction? Bored or frustrated with what you’re currently using? I am not an educational specialist who can give you great insight into what you should be using with your children. I can, however, tell you what we’ve used and loved. Maybe our choices can be a springboard for your own.

First and foremost, I should tell you that we employ the classical method, teaching according to what has been known for hundreds of years as the Trivium. Interested? The links below should be of great help to you:

Trivium Pursuit
Classical Homeschooling
The Well-Trainded Mind

Secondly, there are curriculum providers who carry exemplary classical materials. These are our favorites:

Area 127, with one of the nicest owners we know! If you can’t find what you’re looking for, call Jeannie and she will help you sort through all the great materials that are available to home educators.
