June Break

By Kendra | May 31, 2010

I need a little time off here, friends.  You all are always so gracious when I take a break, so thanks for understanding that the volume of items on my plate is too much for me to continue writing for the month of June.

I will, though, be writing two new workshops that I’ll be giving at the Tri Counties Education Network Homeschool Convention in July: Science for Moms Who Don’t Love Science, and How to Choose Curriculum.  If both are pulled off without any major hitches, I’ll be posting the MP3s some time in August.

Other fun stuff coming, too.  Have a lovely June! ♥

p.s. I’ll also be at the Valley Home Educators Convention in July, giving three workshops and a little intro to homeschooling chat session.  If you’re at either event, please come say hello!

Blessings to you and your family as you redirect your attention and energies during the summer. I pray that you are filled and recharged with His gracious presence, for you certainly pour out much of yourself to SO many all year long.
Sure wish I could come to CA to hear you. We’d love to have you in NE Ohio!!

Have a good break! I have been meaning to tell you that our new hands down favorite breakfast around here is your Orange Flax Muffin recipe! My dd just baked up a double batch for our weekend trip away. Thanks for the great recipes and all you do!

Wow!! this is so amazingly wonderful & I can totally understand why U would need a break from time to time…. I just happened upon ur wonderful blog for the first time. Actually, I’m quite sure that I’ve been led here….. hope the adjective “wonderful” doesn’t bother u, because I may use it several times …. I’m just that blessed to have found u (: Anyway, my hubby (of 3 glorious, yet extremely new & trying yrs.) & I are still quite new to parenthood & our 19 month young daughter has been very understanding about that fact …. so as ” somewhat new ” parents u can just imagine how much we appreciate ur willingness to share. thank u, thank u, thank u ~ from the bottom of our hearts we thank u…. we are also very interested in homeschooling & if u don’t mind i have a question for u ….. please feel free to answer when it’s convenient for u …. we want more children ( my hubby is 43 & I am 36) & we do not have health insurance- what would be ur advice in this situation ?? ur thoughts are very much appreciated as is all that u have already taken time to share ….

    In His love, ShayJ (:

Of course it’s so like me to find a PERFECT answer right when the source needs a break! :D
I bookmarked your site and hopefully will be perusing it this next week. I have 6 kids ages 10 mos- 11 years old and I have the extreme topic of homeschooling layed on my heart and its in my daily prayers now. Especially as my eldest enters into middle school *shudders*.
Enjoy your break- Im a social media diva so I know the feeling. I look forward to picking your brain someday! -Jyn
