Bummer! But I totally understand. By the way, you weren’t kidding that your house looks like you live in the tropics. I love it!

    Praying for you all.

    Merry Christmas

How are you enjoying Bartholomew’s Passage? Have you read it before? We are on year 2 of Jotham, and would love to try the others, but a friend read Tabitha’s Travels last year and was not so impressed with Tabitha, which is a bummer. I’d love to hear your impressions of Bartholomew!

Same here. Love Bartholomew and Jotham, not so keen on the “girl power” in Tabitha.

I love this picture of your family sprawled out over the family room listening intently! We have read the entire series and are cycling through again. This year we are on Bartholomew’s Passage and enjoying it! Have a blessed Christmas!

Love the picture — and the pants (hey, gotta be comfy!)! Enjoying some of the books you suggested! Thanks again! We’re reading them during cirlcle time. The kiddos enjoy the break from “Make Brothers and Sisters Best Friends” — ha! Thanks again!! Have a wonderfully blessed Christmas season!!

Merry Christmas, Kendra! I look forward to hearing from you again in January. We are on our 4th year of Jotham’s Journey and enjoy it still. BTW, we always boo and hiss when driving down Ninth St and pass Decca Motors. The poor owner probably has no idea he shares a name with such an infamous character! – I’ve been praying for everything related to the wedding. It will certainly be a blessed event. Hug Heather for me! -
    Joy to the World!

I just wanted to thank you for all your recommendations (especially The Bartholemew and Jothams Journey Books & Advent Calendars) Even though our sons (one is two and the other just passed court in Ethiopia on the 7th and is 6 months old we think) We’re trying to be very intentional to Glorify God in our traditions! I really REALLY appreciate your help in this!

    Blessings,
    Krissy

bought those books for next year’s advent! thank you for the wonderful suggestions. so excited to read them. we had a wonderful year (year 2) of using the jesse tree to learn more about jesus this advent. my kids (four under 6 years) reminded me if we didn’t do our reading each night. really a special time this year. god’s blessings to your little trooper in the icu.
