How could you not love these? And they seem so easy to make. I’ll have to put this on my “next year to do list”. My husband is deployed this year and it was enough just to get up the tree and try to put out a few decorations so the kids feel like nothing is different. Decorating for Christmas is something we love to do together and it was a little sad to do it without him around.

My husband and I are trying to take the focus off Santa and the commercialism that so easily creeps into our Christmas celebrations. We have an almost 4-year-old, 2 year-old and baby #3 is due in February, so we’re trying to carefully establish our focus on Christ during this season. What a wonderful idea to aid in that mission!
